CLASS NOTE : CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION

              CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION(GNS 128)
   On Tuesday (4/8/15),we had a class by 5pm and it was a boring one because the new lecturer who came was only teaching the front row.
The topic discussed was: Election.
 Election is defined as the method by which an accredited citizen votes to chose a leader or a public office holder.
    The processes of election are:
I. Impartial and independent electoral commission.
Ii. Existence of more than one political party.
Iii. Nominations of candidates to contest for election.
Iv. Establishment of polling stations.
V. Provision of election material.
Vi. Required training and development of electoral commission officers.
    Roles of political parties are:
 They make awareness.
Ii. They educate voters.
Iii. They provide campaign funds.
